Just as my fellow critique-writing-buddy, I rate it highly. It's very encouraging, making me believe in people. I actually can put myself in both positions and it's been ages of me searching for an artwork like this.

The things that caught my eye are the scars, and this little shade of colour on the SadGuy's (I'm sorry, just didn't know how to call him) shoulder, neck and hair. I like it, it's like a first step forward, the standing persons influence.

I can also see that there's been put quite much effort into the piece itself. The shadings are great, anatomy isn't over-idealised. Although there's something wrong with shoes, isn't it? I can't actually describe but something disturbs me about 'em.

Nevertheless it's a great artwork, very heart-warming and beautiful. Hope You do much more of those things, and never fall into the SadGuy's position. Eat well, sleep well and work hard~

Bye!
